• Have a song you think is ready for radio? A song you think you just need a little guidance or direction to make it all that it can be?

The Red lodge Songwriter Festival is accepting the first 100 songs submitted for critique by some of Nashville’s best hit writers and publishers.  Cory Johnson and contributors from the Nashville music industry will listen to 100 songs choosing the top 10 songs, and their songwriters, to play and be critiqued in an open forum on Saturday June 23rd in front of several Nashville hit songwriters and a listening audience.

The top 2 best written songs and their writers will have the opportunity to perform their songs on the main stage Saturday night during the Nashville Songwriters in the Round show. The 3rd, 4th and 5th top vote getters will get to perform their song at the Saturday afternoon show in Lion’s Park. We will be accepting song submissions beginning February 1st and ending June 1st.

We hope you are planning to come to this years festival. Even if your song was not one of the top ten, come and listen to those that were chosen and the feedback from a panel  of experts on how to make them better. I’m positive this feedback will be beneficial to you and all the other songwriters in the audience.  The reason for the open forum is that, if your song didn’t get chosen for the critique you can and will benefit from the critique session. Song submissions are $20.00/per song. Submitting a song to the contest also gains you access into the Songwriting Critique on Saturday, June 23rd.
