John Pierce, born and raised in Billings, Montana, is a singer-songwriter. Pierce recorded an album for Sony Music Nashville, RCA Nashville with producer Byron Gallimore that was originally scheduled to be released in 2006. However, he found his true passion in the writing world, penning the number one hit Sweet Annie for the multi-Grammy award-winning Zac Brown Band. He has had cuts by Chris Young, Zac Brown Band, Jon Pardi, Trace Adkins, Reba McEntire, Aaron Pritchett, Brett Kissel, Morgan Myles, and Prior Baird. He currently writes for Sony/ATV Music Publishing and enjoys fly fishing and more fly fishing in his spare time. Don’t even get him started talking about fly fishing.
